An additional two individuals have been arrested related to a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport where 21 people were injured by what is thought to be an irritant spray, as stated by police.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in the Lambeth area for suspected robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was detained for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. They both remain in custody, the force said.

These detentions come after a probe into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the attack, a pair of female travelers were robbed of their suitcases after getting out of a car park lift.

A toddler aged three was among the injured in the event. A total of five individuals were taken to the hospital for treatment and were later released.

Officers arrested a 31-year-old man on suspicion of theft and assault near the scene. He was subsequently released under investigation while inquiries continue.

Police were called at about 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding several people injured by a noxious substance thought to be an irritant spray.

The attack - an event that police said was a standalone incident and not being treated as terrorism - resulted in delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park briefly.
